A fine example of contemporary art in an unusual space. Warehouses can become interesting spaces for art, especially when they are 300 years old. When French billionaire Francois Pinault’s contemporary art collection proved too large for Palazzo Grassi, Pinault began a new collaboration with minimalist architect Tadao Ando to transform the warehouse at the 17th-century Punta della Dogana into a state-of-the-art space to house the works of famous and controversial international artists.
